How long does a typical build take? +
Six weeks for Website Launch. Eight weeks for E-Commerce Launch. Fourteen weeks+ for App Build. Twenty-four weeks+ for Software Build. Timelines are fixed at the start of the engagement and we operate to them strictly. The "+" reflects that final scope depends on complexity — confirmed in writing before kick-off, never moved afterwards.
Do you help us choose the right platform or tech stack? +
Yes. Platform selection is part of the discovery and scoping phase. We platform-select based on your specific needs — Shopify or Shopify Plus for ecommerce, WordPress or Webflow for marketing sites, custom Next.js / Node / Laravel stacks for apps and software platforms. Recommendations are made on merit, never as a default.
Is design included in the engagement? +
Each tier assumes you arrive with approved Figma designs. If you don't have designs yet, we recommend pairing with our Brand System engagement first — running brand and build back-to-back is significantly more efficient than splitting them across two agencies. Many clients commission both in sequence.
What's included in the twelve months of hosting? +
Managed hosting, SSL, security monitoring, software and plugin updates, backup management, uptime monitoring, and a defined number of hours per month for content updates, bug fixes, and small changes. Specific hours per tier are confirmed in the project agreement.
Will we own the code and intellectual property? +
You do. Fully. All code, design files, hosting accounts, and platform access are owned by you and transferred at handover. No lock-ins, no proprietary licensing, no "you can only host it with us" arrangements. If you want to move the build to another vendor, you can.
What happens after the first twelve months? +
You can continue with a managed hosting and maintenance retainer (at the rates shown under each tier), commission additional development on a project basis, or take the build off our hosting entirely. Most clients move to a long-term retainer — but the choice is always yours.
Can you integrate with our existing systems? +
Yes. Integration with your existing stack — CRM, ERP, finance, email, communication, payment, third-party data sources — is a core part of every build. We map integrations during scoping and architect for them from the start, not as an afterthought.
Do you provide training and documentation? +
Yes. Every engagement includes team training, full technical documentation, and an architectural handover. The goal is to leave you in a position where you can maintain, extend, and scale the build with us, with your internal team, or with any competent developer.
What's not included in the pricing? +
Third-party platform fees (Shopify subscriptions, hosting beyond year one, SaaS tools, payment processor fees), brand and design work if you don't have existing Figma designs, and significant scope additions after kick-off. These are all flagged transparently during scoping — never buried in the invoice later.
